ZIRP offers Metabolic cages for the separate collection of urine and feces and measurement of food and water intake of mice and rats. Please note, that housing of animals in metabolic cages is regulated by directive 2.06.

Metabolic cages can be used self supported after preliminary introduction or in collaboration with a ZIRP technician and can be reserved via the booking system - if you are not already registered for the booking system, please register here.

Please note that only trained and approved users can register and reserve equipment!
