Measures:

The DxC 800 system holds 2 modules :

“ISE” Module: Ion selective electrodes measure Na, K, CI, Ca and CO2 in various body fluids.

“CHEMISTRY” Module: 24 photometrical measures (Conductivity Electrode, Glucose, Oxygen Sensor, colorimetric, Immuno-turbidimetric, Enzyme immunoassay, Rate, End-Point analysis). Each analysis requires a reagent contained in disposable cartridges.

Reagent Capacity:

• 70 methods simultaneously on board
• 59 cartridge chemistries
• 5 ISE chemistries
• 6 modular chemistries

Sample volumes:

• “ISE” Module: 40µL for all the electrolytes (Na, K, Cl, Ca)
• “CHEMISTRY” Module: 3 to 25µL (depending on parameter) + 40µL of dead volume = 43 to 65µL.
• Approximately 40-50 µL of dead space volume must be added, but can be retreived after analyses.
