The Radiometer ABL80 FLEX CO-OX is a cartridge based blood gas analyzer providing advanced lab quality co-oximetry and analysis of blood gases, pH, electrolytes and glucose. The required sample volume is 105 µL of full blood - Radiometer also offers specific heparinized capillaries and syringes for blood sampling.
The ABL80 FLEX CO-OX’s complete test menu includes:
• pH: pH
• Blood Gas: pCO2, pO2
• Electrolytes: cCa2+, cCl-, cK+, cNa+
• Glucose: cGlu
• Oximetry: ctHb, sO2, FO2Hb, FCOHb, FMetHb, FHHb
3 different types of sensor cassettes are available each for either 25, 50, 100, 200 or 300 measurements:
• Blood gases and co-oxymetry
• Blood gases, co-oxymetry and electrolytes
• Blood gases, co-oxymetry, electrolytes and glucose
All sensor cassettes include reagents for automated quality control measurements.

The blood gas analyser can either be used self supported (with preliminary training) or in collaboration with ZIRP staff. ZIRP also provides help with blood sampling - please contact us for more information.
Please note :
Due to their short storage life we do not have cassettes in stock - they have to be ordered two weeks prior to the start of analyses. The life period of a sensor cassette inserted into the blood gas analyzer is 1 month!
