Fees

The ZIRP is a non-profit core facility providing state of the art key equipment and techniques. The usage of resources is offered on a self-supported basis, so that users have to pay only for consumables and maintenance expenses on a pro-rata basis. Fees are invoiced quarterly (end of March, June, September, and December) on the basis of the current price lists published at the ZIRP website.

Services are charged based on the work performed as described in the price list. Equipment is charged based on the entries in the reservation system and the current price list. Equipment or services not mentioned in the published list will be charged by mutual agreement. Training is currently free of charge. The usage of animal housing is charged by the Laboratory Animal Service Center (LASC).
